Borden's Butterdish Car, Kit
The Borden's "Butterdish" Milk Car was a hall mark of the Art Deco days of the 1930's. The fleet of 40 cars were used to transport milk in two 3,000 glass lined tanks that were located inside the sleek streamlined body that gave the car it's nickname.
Photos are of assembled car. Resin cast superstructure with pewter cast underframe. Brake wheel, decals and brass rod for handrails included. Micro-trains BX Express medium extension trucks recommended, but not included in the kit.
