US Army M7 Generating Unit and M7 Trailer

The M7 Generating Unit and M7 Trailer provided 28 kilowatts of mobile electric power to US Army forces around the globe.  The gasoline powered generator was commonly used to provide electricity to anti-aircraft defense units at airfields and other important installations.
